Why hello there world! It has been a while. Here at Alio Photography we are dealing with the holidays and final exams and such, hopefully we can start posting more regularly.

Here's a glimpse into a shoot Guru did with a dear friend's baby boy. Everytime we see him he about doubles in size.. and we hear he's starting to think about crawling!

Hello Internet!

Laura here, Guru's fiance. Although he did not introduce himself, he is the mastermind behind Alio Photography. He is great at taking pictures, but not used to the blogging world, so I'll be helping him write posts. He's actually at a photography club meeting this evening, hopefully when he returns he'll have some great new shots or ideas for shots!

I wasn't really sure where to start, or who to start with. All I knew was that I wanted something more than a point and shoot, and that I've always had an eye out for those digital SLRs. Debated a couple of days, and then somehow found myself holding a Nikon D5000. Haven't looked back since.
